Hello Comrade
I was just looking through the command web site and ended up here on you site. I lived in Dartmouth for 24 years while serving in the Navy and never took the time to get involved with the Legion but now that I have retired I am trying to get involved. I have a little knowledge of computers and I would like to perhaps try to get our local Legion to have a web site could you put me in touch with your site administrator so I can pick his brain because you have the most in-depth and easy to use site that I have cane across.
Thanks
Comrade in arms always
Anthony Wood,CD

Recently My Mother Margery MacDonald(Purdy) married to John A Macdonald (deceased)WW2 north shore europe passed away and while going through things I came accross two copies of the Legionary from 1946 from the Oxford br 36.
would the br or the NS commend be interest in these copies as I would mail them to where ever.

my grandfather was in ww1 named Cliff Alexander MacDonald from Trenton.

I also have a number of other items that I would like to donate to NS Legion Command if desired

I would like to see more information concerning the Command council, e.g. who are the chairs of the various committees and how to reach them.

I would also appreciate it if the Command email were active so that I or anyone else can just click on it and send our concern.

The last concern at the moment is forms. I or anyone else should be able to download whatever Legion form they are looking for from the site.

I visited the Command site quite often and I firmly believe there should be more content available to all Comrades.

Thank you

Just a couple of suggestions - why not post the CVs for the ececutive so we have some idea with whom we are dealing. I believe the site should be far more interactive than it currently is. This would allow branches to interface with command on a more timely, effective and efficient manner than we currently experience when trying to get information - i.e. Branch to Zone to District to Command via Canada Post?FAX

I am the founding President "The Memories Recovered Project" where I interview and document Canada's military veterans for history and education. They are then to be donated to educational institutions across Canada.Approximately two hundred and fifty veterans and their familes from across Canada have received this priceless keepsake from The Memories Recovered Project thus far.
WW2 and the Korean War veterans are presntly the focus.
I had two uncles (Perely Cameron/Ernest Hill)who were with the North Novies.I am looking have as many North Novies come forward who would like to talk about the important part the NNSH's played.Presently,I am working on my documentary,"No Retreating Footsteps; The Fighting North Novies".
If you know of any North Novie veterans please contact me to add valuable information to a regiment that distinguished itself many times. It is very important that this regiment with our provinvial namesake has it's story told!
Thanks in advance!
