Veterans and Ex-Service Members Services

Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion has a network of Branch Service Officers whom assist veterans, serving military and RCMP members, and ex-serving military and RCMP members with claims for disability pensions; involving their service with those agencies or with financial problems following retirement.

For full details, Veterans with claims can contact the Branch Service Officer closest to where they live. (NS District/Zone/Branches or NU District/Zone/Branches). NS/NU Command's Service Officer are listed below. Dominion Command Offices or Veterans Affairs Canada also provide Service Officer support. It should be noted that Legion Membership, although encouraged, is not a requirement to obtain assistance.
