He served at Vimyridge during World War I, returning home in 1920. Levi saved his cousin, Milford Hopkins, by crawling on his stomach and dragging Milford to safety. He is a member of Legion Branch #148. Submitted by Cape Sable Branch #148. HUDON, Gerald WWII Gerald joined the RCAF in 1943 and was stationed in Japan & Italy during World War II. Gerald is a member of the Middleton Legion Branch #001. Submitted by Middleton Branch #001. HUDON, Gerard J. WWII Gerry was born in Riviere Oulle, Quebec, in 1924. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1943, and served in Canada, the U.K., France, Germany and Holland, returning home in 1945. He remained in the Airforce until 1967. Gerry now resides at the V.A.C. unit in Middleton, and is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #001. Submitted by Middleton Branch #001. HUNTER, Charles Eugene WWII Charles was born in 1920. He served the Royal Canadian Air Force in the United Kingdom and Europe. Charles passed away in 2001. Submitted by Hants County Branch #009. INGLIS, Jim WWII Jim joined the Merchant Marines in 1944 and served overseas during the Second World War. In 1947, Jim joined the RCAF as a Photo Tech and logged 3,000 hours on the Lancaster making maps for Canada. Jim is a member of Branch #098 Kingston Legion. Submitted by Kingston Branch #098.
