He served in the Royal Canadian Navy on HMS Nabob, and HMCS Strathroy from 1942-1945. MCRAE, Everett Norman WWII Everett was born in Moosecreek, Ontario in 1923. He joined the Merchant Navy when he was seventeen years old. He toured on the Acadia and Saguenay. He and his wife, Jean, lived in Gaetz Brook, NS for forty-five years. He was a Founding Member and Life Member of Eastern Marine Branch #161, The Royal Canadian Legion before he passed away in 2005. He served the Royal Canadian Army with the 52nd Anti-Tank Regiment in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Holland. MILES, Arthur Kingsman WWI Arthur was born in October 1896 in Wallbrook, Kings County, N.S. He enlisted in the Army in June 1918, and served in Britain and France. He was discharged in July 1919 in Halifax. Arthur Passed away in February 1986. Submitted by Family. MILLER (LINGAARD), Agnes M. WWII Agnes was born in Tenecape, Hants County, NS and lived her adult life in Kentville, NS. She served with the C.W.A.C. and was with the first group to be trained. She was a driver with R.C.O.C., serving from 1942 to 1944. Agnes is a thirty-year member of Kings Branch #006, The Royal Canadian Legion, and is still an active volunteer.
