He served the Canadian Army with the R.C.E.M.E. as a bombardier in Canada. He received three medals for his service to his country. Ross passed away in 1984. Vince joined the R.C. N.V.R. in 1940 and fought in the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay until 1945. He is a thirty-eight-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion.
