He enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1941, becoming a tank driver, and served in the United Kingdom and Holland. He came back home in 1945 and remained in the Army until 1971. He served the Royal Canadian Navy in Korea, aboard ships: Haida in 1952-53, and Huron in 1954. Arnold was discharged with the rank of CP02. Submitted by Calais Branch #162, The Royal Canadian Legion. BRUCE, Carl L. WWII Carl was born in Wilmot, NS in 1920. He enlisted in the Army on January 10, 1942, but suffered an eye injury and was unable to go overseas. He served at Camp Aldershot as a training officer on motorcycles, carriers and trucks until his discharge in February 1946. BRUHM, Henry Douglas WWII Henry was born in Bridgewater, NS in 1921. He served the Royal Canadian Army in the United Kingdom.
