He served in Canada, England, Germany, and Netherlands from 1942-1946. He arrived in Belgium in May 1945. He received the 1939-1945 Star. Kenneth passed away in 1995. He joined the Canadian Army, North Shore Regiment in 1944 and served in the U.K., Holland and Germany. Ken returned home in 1946, and passed away in December 1996. Submitted by Middleton Branch #001, The Royal Canadian Legion. PRATT, Keith Ross WWII Keith was born on March 19, 1923 in Truro, Nova Scotia. In March 1944, he went to Halifax where he joined the military as an Artilleryman. He was shipped overseas in the fall of 1944, where he trained with the Infantry. He was sent to Belgium, where he joined the N.N.S.H., then to Holland and Germany. Keith remained in occupied Germany for eleven months when the war was over. He arrived back on June 9, 1946, and was released on July 24, 1946. Keith resides in North River, N.S. and is a member of Colchester Branch #026, The Royal Canadian Legion.
