WESLEY, Mac Charles Byron “Babe” WWII Charles was born in Sydney, N.S. in 1917. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941-1945 aboard H.M.C.S. Sackville on the High Seas, in Newfoundland, and England. He received the 1939-45 Star Medal, the Atlantic Star, and the Canada 1939-1945 Voluntary Service Medal. Charles passed away in 1998. WHITE, Ernest Arthur WWII Ernest was born in Kemptville, Yarmouth Co., N.S. in 1922 and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders & R.C.A.S.C. in Canada, England and Europe. He joined the Canadian Air Force with R.C.A. and R.C.A.S.C. and served in France, Germany and England. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, 1939-45 Star, France Germany Star, and Defense Medal. He returned to Forest Glen and retired there. WHITE, Jeffery Boyd WWII Jeffery was born in Young’s Cove, Annapolis Co., N.S. in 1916. He served the Royal Canadian Navy aboard H.M.C.S. Oakville in Canada and the High Seas. He received the 1939-45 Star, Volunteer Service Medal, Victory Medal & Clasp. He joined the Navy in 1941 and was discharged in 1945. Jeffery passed away in 2005.
