E. Butler Branch #044, The Royal Canadian Legion. DEWOLFE, Allison Edward WWII Allison was born in Lower Ship Harbour, N.S. in 1922. He served with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in Canada, England, France and the Central Mediterranean. His war years were 1941-1946. He received the following medals: Defense Ribbon, 1939-45 Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, France-Germany Star, and Italian Star. He served with the Essex Scottish Regiment R.C.I.C. in Europe and Belgium as Private. Robert was killed in action in 1944, and is buried in Schoonselhof Cemetery, Antwerpen, Belgium.
