He served Special Duty with the Signal Corp in Korea. He received the Korean Medal, UN Medal, and Voluntary Service Medal. Ed joined the Corps on January 9,1952, and served until March 1955. Submitted by Digby Branch #020, The Royal Canadian Legion. FRANCIS, Ronald William WWII Ronald was born on August 8, 1926. He served the Royal Canadian Army with the #6 District Depot in Canada, UK, and Europe. He was a member of the Hants North Branch #166, The Royal Canadian Legion. Ronald passed away on June 4, 2004. Submitted by Queens. Co. Branch #166, The Royal Canadian Legion. FROST, Harold E. KOREA Harold was born in Balmoral, N.S. in 1926. He did Special Duty with P.P.C.L.I in Korea. Harold passed away in 2004. Submitted by St. Peter’s Branch #047, The Royal Canadian Legion. FULTON, J. Donald L. WWII Don was born in Truro, N.S., graduating from Grade 12 in June 1939. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in June 1940, receiving his wings in February 1941, and then embarked for overseas. On the night of June 12, 1944, during his seventh mission over European soil, Don’s plane was shot down following repeated attacks by German fighter planes. He returned home in 1944, and still resides in Truro. Don is a 50-year Life Member of Colchester Branch #026, The Royal Canadian Legion. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the West Nova Scotia Unit in Sicily, Italy, UK, and North West Europe. He was awarded the Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
