Mickey was a Drill Instructor at Camp Aldershot. He returned to Yarmouth following the war and worked in the sawmills until the early 1950s, when he left for Oshawa, ON. JOUDREY, St. Almore Robie WWI Robie was born on March 18, 1898 and resided in Gold River, NS. He enlisted with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force on January 10, 1916. Submitted by Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. JOUDREY, Willis WWI Willis was born in Oak Island, NS, on December 1, 1887. He joined the 217th Overseas Highland Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force on March 27, 1916. Submitted by Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. JOHNSTONE, Joseph Froud WWII Joseph was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1921. He joined the 88th Anti-Aircraft Battery and served overseas, in the Central Mediterranean, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was a Life Member of Clementsport Branch 122, before he passed away in 1997. Submitted by Clementsport Branch 122 of The Royal Canadian Legion. JOUDREY, Thomas R. WWII Thomas lives in Martin’s Point, NS. He served with the Lord Strathcona’s Horse, C.A.C. in Canada and Europe from June 1940 to January 1946.
