MARSHALL, Gordon WWI Gordon was born in Clarence, NS, in 1896. He joined the Canadian Army in 1914 and served in the UK and France, where he was part of the Vimy Ridge Campaign. MARSHALL, Thurston WWII Thurston was born in Bridgetown, NS, in 1923. He joined the Canadian Army, Nova Scotia Highlanders in 1942 and served in the UK, France and Holland. He was part of the D-Day Invasion, before returning home in 1946. Thurston lives in Bridgetown, where he is a member of Bridgetown Branch 033 of The Royal Canadian Legion. MARSHALL, Lorimer WWII Lorimer was born in Bridgetown, NS, in 1921. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941 and served in the UK and Continental Europe, returning home in 1945. Lorimer passed away in 1997.
