MORRISON, Sholto Douglas WWI Sholto served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force from December 21, 1914 to August 31, 1919. He was twenty years old when he first became a Sapper with the 2nd Divisional Engineers. He attained commissioned rank of Signalling Officer with the NS Rifles as part of the 106th Overseas Battalion of the C.E.F. The first two years of his military career included service in Canada and England with the 2nd Divisional Engineers, 5th Field Company, C.E.F., 2nd Signal Company, C.E.F., 106th Battalion, 40th Battalion, 26th Res. Battalion, N.S.R.D. and General List. In 1917, he joined the newly-formed Royal Flying Corps and had postings with the British Expeditionary Force in France. Sholto passed away in 1978.
