He served with R.C.N.A. in Canada from October 21, 1951 to October 22, 1954. NAUGLER, Herbert Ian WWII PEACETIME Ian was born on April 5, 1925 in Moser River, NS. He joined the Military in June 1944 and was shipped overseas that December. He served with the North Novies in Belgium, Germany, and Holland. On April 8, 1945, at Bathman, Ian suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. He was released “End of Demobilization” in June 1946. On November 4, 1947, Ian re-enlisted in the military as a Machinist and was posted to Chilliwack, Whitehorse, Coldbrook, Germany and Camp Borden, until he retired in 1975. He received the following medals: Holland, the 1939-1945 Star, France & Germany Star, CVSM, War, NATO, and the Canadian Forces Decoration with Rosette (CDI). Ian still resides just outside Truro, NS, and is a thirty-year member of Colchester Branch 026 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Submitted by Colchester N.S. Branch 26 of The Royal Canadian Legion. NICKERSON, Adoniram J. WWII Adoniram was born in Summerville, Yarmouth County, NS, on September 27, 1913. He served with the CO I 22nd Infantry in the European Campaign. He was wounded in action on August 2, 1944 at Villebydon, France. He received the ETO Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge. He passed away on February 14, 1992. Submitted by Carleton Consolidated Branch 167 of The Royal Canadian Legion. MYRA, William Morris WWI William was born in Halifax, NS, on June 8, 1896, and resided in Gold River, NS. He enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment on June 16, 1918. Submitted by Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. NAUSS, Harvey WWII Harvey was born in 1918. He served the Royal Canadian Army with the West Nova Scotia Regiment in Europe. Submitted by F. E. Butler Branch 044 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
