He served in Canada (Labrador) with the No. 60 Canadian Army (B), Training Centre, Yarmouth, NS. NICKERSON, Lloyd Howard WWII Lloyd was born in Yarmouth, NS, in 1921. He joined the R.C.A. One Survey Regiment and served in England, Sicily, Italy, France, Germany and Holland. He received the Good Conduct Stripe, the Volunteer Medal, the Defense Medal, the Italy Star, the France & Germany Star, and the 1939-1945 Star. Lloyd has been a member of The Legion for forty years. He joined the Cape Breton Highlanders, Royal Canadian Army, West Nova Scotia Regiment, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps and served in Dieppe, France, Belgium, Holland, France, Italy and Germany. He received the Italy Star, the 1939-1945 Star and the France & Germany Star. Clayton passed away at Veterans Place at Yarmouth Regional Hospital in 2008. Submitted independently. NICKERSON, Granville B. WWII & KOREA Granville was born in West Springhill, Annapolis County, NS, in 1918. He served as a Wireless Operator in the Royal Canadian Navy for twenty-five years, including World War Two and the Korean War, retiring in 1962. Granville was a member of A. L.
