He served in the Artillery in the Army in Canada. He received the War Medal 1939-1945 and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He passed away in 2006. She met her husband, Randy, in the R.C.A.F. in England, where he remained until they retired to Kemptville, Yarmouth County, NS. RAFUSE, Albert Fulton WWI Albert was born on June 7, 1897 and resided in Martin’s Point, NS. He enlisted with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force on March 17, 1916. He joined the South West Nova Scotia Regiment and served in England and Germany. Jean passed away in 2003. Submitted by Clare Branch 052 of The Royal Canadian Legion. PROUT, Randall “Randy” WWII Randy was born in Yarmouth, NS, in 1924. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and was awarded the Defence Medal and the 1939-1945 Star. He stayed in England after the war, only returning in the mid 1990s with his British Bride, Betty. A room at Carleton Consolidated Branch 167 of The Royal Canadian Legion is named in their honour.
