Sailmaker in the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans with the 2nd Battalion 45th in England. He served from 1917 to 1918 in the First World War, and 1939-1946 in World War Two. PEACETIME Clyde was born in Hammonds Plains, NS, and presently lives in Chester, NS. He served with the Navy from January 7, 1952 to 1972 on the High Seas.
