He served in the Royal Navy from 1941 to 1945 with the Sick Berth Staff, General and Operative. Rodney served in Plymouth, England, Aultber, Scotland, and various areas in South East Asia, and has been awarded the Defence Medal, France & Germany Star, Burma Star and Victory Medal. He joined the Infantry Corp and served in Canada and Europe. Edwin worked in British Columbia for many years, and retired to the Halifax area, where he passed away at Camp Hill Hospital in 2004. He served in the North Novies in Europe from 1939 to 1946. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to tell stories. George passed away in 2003.
