YOUNG, Roderick Lester WWI Roderick was born on December 12, 1897, and resided in Gold River, NS. He enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion Nova Scotia Regiment on April 6, 1918. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders in England, France, Holland, Germany and Italy from 1942 to 1946.
