He joined the 4th Division 15th Field Regiment and served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. WWII & KOREA David was born in Parrsboro, NS, in 1924. He joined the R.C.A.S.C. and served in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Far East, Korea, Continental Europe and the USA. He received the 1939-45 Star, the France & Germany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the War Medal 1939-45, the Korea Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Dutch Medal. He joined the CanadianArmy, Royal Canadian Artillery in 1940 and was commissioned. He served in the UK and Continental Europe, returning home in 1945. He passed away in 1999. He was in the Regular Force serving in Canada. He received his honourable discharge in 1983. Upon retirement, he became an Imperial Member of Branch 048, serving as Sergeant at Arms and membership, receiving Top Member Recruiter in NS and second-highest recruiter in Canada.
