He served with 1st Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in Canada fromMarch 1979 to May 1991. Terry is a member in good standing of Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Submitted by Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. GALLAGHER, John J. WWII John was born April 10, 1924 in Lequille, NS. He joined the Canadian Army, North Nova Scotia Regiment in October 1943. He served in the UK and Continental Europe. John was wounded in 1944, resulting from injuries to his limbs and skull and the loss of one eye. He returned to Canada and was discharged in March 1945. He passed away in November 2001 at the VAC Unit in Middleton, NS. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. Submitted by Middleton Branch 001 of The Royal Canadian Legion. GARBER, Aubrey Donald WWII Aubrey was born in West Clifford, Lunenburg County, NS, on March 1, 1919. He served with the R.C. Artillery, C.B. Highlanders in Canada (Labrador), England, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He passed away on October 4, 2005. Submitted by New Germany Branch 102 of The Royal Canadian Legion. GALLAGER, George WWII George was born in Halifax, NS, in 1927. He served the Royal Canadian Navy on the High Seas. Submitted by F. E. Butler Branch 044 of The Royal Canadian Legion. GALLANT, Colin WWII Colin was born in New Glasgow, NS, in 1919. He served in the Army, North Shore Regiment in Canada, Bermuda, Britain, Holland, NE Europe and the Caribbean area. He received the Canadian Efficiency Medal, 1939-1945 Star, the France & Germany Star, the Defense Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-1945.
