WWII William was born in Torbrook West Annapolis, NS, in 1918. He was a Bomber Command with 427th Squadron of the Royal CanadianAir Force. HAMM, Harold Ingram Sr. KOREA Harold lives in Chester Basin, NS. He served with Royal Canadian Army in Canada and Korea from October 23, 1951 to October 19, 1962. Harold has been a member of Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion since 1962 to present, where he is a member in good standing. Submitted by Harding Branch 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion. GULLAGE, John WWI WWII John was born in Catalina, NL, in 1889. He served in the Merchant Navy during World Wars One and Two. Following the sinking of SS Caribou by enemy fire in the Cabot Straight, the SS Burges, under his command, was assigned as a replacement. John remained on the passenger run from North Sydney to Port-aux-Basques through the remaining war years until his retirement in November 1954. He and all three of his sons served during World War Two. Bill and Roland served overseas with the RNR and Joe with the Merchant Navy. In recognition, he was awarded the OBE by the reigning King of England. John was a member of Sydney Branch 012 of The Royal Canadian Legion until his death in 1982. Submitted independently. HAMM, Eaton WWI Eaton was born on June 18, 1893 and resided in Western Shore, NS. He enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment on March 13, 1918.
