Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 155 MILLER, Lester Levi KOREA Lester, son of John and Enid (Henley) Miller of Cross Roads, was born in 1932, and was a member of the Canadian Army for about twenty years, serving in the Korean War in 1952 and 1953. He married Beatrice Elva Hamilton of Dean and lived in western Canada. Lester died in Victoria, BC, in 2005. Submitted by the Stewiacke Valley Historical Society. MORASH, Allison Percy WWII Allison was born in Cole Harbour, Halifax County, in 1925. He joined the Algonquin Regiment and served in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. Allison is a Life Member of Somme Branch #031of The Royal Canadian Legion and resides in Camp Hill. Submitted by Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion. MOSES, Malcolm “Mack” WWII Mack was born in 1925 in Gardner’s Mill and joined the Canadian Infantry in 1944. He returned to Gardner’s Mill where he worked at carpentry until his retirement. MORRELL, Earl PEACETIME Earl was born in Brighton, Digby County, NS, in 1932, and joined the Army on May 19, 1951, taking his basic training in Shilo, MB. He was with the 79th FD Regiment 27 Brigade in Germany in December 1951 to December 1953, in Germany 1966-1970 with IRCHH, in Cyprus from July 1994 to December 1974, and with the Airborne Regiment. He received the Member of Order of Military Merit and the Canadian Forces Decoration with Clasp. Earl is a Life Member of the Digby Branch #020 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
