He volunteered in Sydney in 1940, and served overseas and Newfoundland and was injured in the explosion of the ammo dump. He married Caroline (Clarke) on May 6, 1941. James passed away in 1980. She served with the CWAC in Canada and was attached to the RCEME in Halifax. She is a member of Hants County Branch #009 of The Royal Canadian Legion. ROBICHEAU, George William WWII George was born at Marshalltown, NS, and joined the Canadian Army, Cape Breton Highlanders and served in the UK, Italy, France and Germany, returning home in 1945. He was a member of Saulnierville Branch #052 and Yarmouth Branch #081 of The Royal Canadian Legion. George passed away on October 26, 1997. Submitted by Middleton Branch #001 of The Royal Canadian Legion. ROBERTSON (RITCHIE), Pauline WWII Pauline was born in Windsor, NS, in 1921. She was the first to join the CWAC and served the war years at Halifax Military Hospital stationed at the Cathedral Barracks.
