COOK, William “Bill” WWII Bill was born in 1921 in Raynardton, NS, and enlisted with the Fort Garry Horse (1942-1946), serving in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Bill saw more than his share of action during WWII. He returned to Raynardton and worked in Yarmouth County until his retirement. SPECIALDUTY& PEACETIME Daniel was born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, NS, on April2, 1934 and served with the 1st Battalion Black Watch RCASC, LDSH, RCD’s in Canada, twice in Germany and Alert, NWT. He received the CD for peacekeeping. Daniel is a member of the Digby Branch #020 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 31 years. Submitted by Digby Branch #020 of The Royal Canadian Legion. COPUS, Charles WWII Charles was born in Halifax, NS, in 1916 and served with the RAF 3rd Division in England and Europe from 1941-1946.
