Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 157 PELLERIN, Adam Simon WWII Adam was born in Larry’s River, NS in 1915 to the late Frederick and Clara (Pettipas) Pellerin and served overseas with the Canadian Army. He had taken his training in Aldershot and was slightly wounded in Italy on December 21, 1944. He had another brother, Eddie Pellerin who served in the American Army at the same time in France and England. After returning from the war, he worked as an autobody mechanic at Vee Eight Motors, New Glasgow until his retirement. He was a member of the Pictou Branch #16 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Adam passed away on May 13, 1997 at the age of 82. Adam will always be remembered and respected for his years of service. Submitted by the Torbay Branch #117 of The Royal Canadian Legion. PELLERIN, Albert WWII Albert was born in Larry’s River, NS and joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1939 and was posted along the West Coast and went overseas serving on the HMCS Prince Henry. After his discharge he lived in Halifax and was married raising two children. He passed away in 1966. He will always be remembered and respected for his years of service. PELLERIN, Edward A. “Eddie” WWII Eddie was born in Skowhegan, Maine in 1913, son of the late Frederick and Clara (Pettipas) Pellerin of Larry’s River, NS. Eddie had lived in Nova Scotia before moving to Wayne, USA forty-two years ago. He served with the US Army in Europe. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Radnor Township Park Department. He was married to Loretta Cameron and had two daughters. Eddie passed away on March 19, 1986 at the age of 73. He will always be remembered and respected for his years of service. He lived most of his life in Halifax and married Edith Fenton and had two children. Clement passed away in 1976. He will always be remembered and respected for his years of service.
