Co. in 1913 and joined the Merchant Navy Rosecastle-Atlantic Seaboard serving in the Atlantic and Indies. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Bar, the 1939-45 War Medal and discharge button. He was a Chartered Member of the Isle Madame Br # 150 for 55 years. WWII Peter was born in Arichat, NS on February 29, 2920 and joined the 4th RCA-Fougere Regiment Chaudieres in 1940 in New Glasgow. He went overseas to England on the S.S. Ann then to France and to Belgium and Holland in the front lines. He was wounded from shell explosions and was sent to a hospital in England. He was discharged in 1945 and returned to Isle Madame and operated a pool room for a few years. In 1955 he started work at Booth’s Fishery for 30 years. He got married onAugust 19, 1974 to Georgina Doiron . Peter received the 1939-45 Star, the France/Germany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp and the 1939-45 War Medal. He’s been a member of the Isle Madame Branch #150 for 54 years. Submitted by the Isle Madame Branch #150 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BOUDREAU, Dion Duane SPECIALAREA DUTY Dion was born in Sydney, NS in 1968 and is currently serving in the CFSME (Army) as Master Warrant Officer and served in Kuwait in 1991, Croatia in 1992, Haiti in 1996 and Afghanistan 2007-2008. He received the Alert Bar, Unikcm, Unpropor, Unmih, CD, CPSM, GSC ISAF. He’s been a member of the Isle Madame Branch #150 for one year. Submitted by the Isle Madame Branch #150 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BOUDREAU, Charles Benedict WWII & KOREA Charles was born in Port Felix, NS in 1926 and enlisted in the Canadian Army at a very young age and was stationed in Germany and returned to Port Helix in 1947. He had hopes in becoming a fisherman, but instead returned to the army and served another 23 years. Charles was a chartered member of Torbay Branch #117. He never married and passed away on January 6, 1994. Submitted by the Torbay Branch #117 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
