After going overseas, he was made Sergeant but was killed at Passchendaele on November 9, 1917. Submitted by the Middleton Branch #001 of The Royal Canadian Legion. SUKER, G. Thomas WWI Thomas enlisted on July 23, 1915 and trained in Valcartier and Aldershot with the 40th Battalion. He reached England in October 1915 and joined a draft for France after having trained for three months in England. In France, he fought through some the most difficult and bloody battles, Mount Kemmel, Zillebech, Ypres, and Messines. Submitted by the Middleton Branch #001 of The Royal Canadian Legion. STOCKALL, Thomas WWI Thomas enlisted in the 64th Battalion in Halifax in September 1915.
