He joined the Army and served in France with the 25th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, Nova Scotia Regiment. He was killed in action on September 17, 1916 at age 23. He was drafted in the Army and served on the home front. He married Evelyn Robertson and they had 8 children. After the war, he worked as a hard rock driller on the Canso Causeway and other construction jobs. Submitted by Tracadie & District. TEALE, Arthur C. WWII Arthur was born in Seabright, NS in 1920. He joined the Army and served in Italy with the Cape Breton Highlanders of the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps. He was killed in action on September 8, 1944 at the age of 24. TAYLOR, Brenton Alexander WWII Brenton was born in Stellarton, NS on May 31, 1918. He joined the Army and served with West Nova Scotia Regiment in England, France, Belgium, Italy and Holland. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the War Medal 1939-45 and the Italy Star. He was wounded in action in Italy on January 4, 1945 and was discharged on November 12, 1945. He passed away in 2010. Submitted by the Atlantic Branch #153 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
