He joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps at CFB Halifax and served in Canada from 1964 to 1969. He was honourably discharged with the rank of Master Corporal. Howard has been a member of RCL Vimy Branch #027 for twelve years. Submitted independently. WHITE, John Bernard PEACETIME John was born in Monastery, NS on December 20, 1938, the son of Bill and Ethel White. He enlisted in the Air Force in Halifax in 1956. He served in St. Jean, Quebec, Camp Borden, Ontario and Cold Lake, Alberta. He was discharged from Alberta in 1959. He married Agnes MacMillan on October 3, 1959 and they have three children. Submitted by Tracadie & District. WHITE, Peter S. WWII Peter was born in Phinney’s Cove, NS in 1898. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Canada. He was a member of RCL Lawrencetown Branch #112 before he passed away in 1985. Submitted by the Lawrencetown Branch #112 of The Royal Canadian Legion. WHITE, John Robert WWI John was born in Phinney’s Cove, NS in 1896. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served in England. He passed away in 1948.
