He joined the Army and served in France with the 85th Battalion of the Manitoba Regiment. He was killed in action in France on November 5, 1918 at the age of 22. He joined the Army and served in France with the Canadian Grenadier Guards of the Royal Canadian Army Corps. He was killed in action on August 14, 1944 at age 23. BOUTILIER, Norman Winifred WWI Norman was born in Boutilier’s Point, NS in 1897. He joined the Army and served in France and Belgium with the 18th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, Western Ontario Regiment. He was killed in action in Belgium on May 10, 1916 at the age of 18. Norman is buried in Voormezele Cemetery in Belgium. Submitted by the Atlantic Branch #153 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BOUTILIER, Norman Arthur WWI Norman was born in Tantallon, NS in 1891. He joined the Army and served in France and Belgium with the 42nd Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, Quebec Regiment. He was killed in action on June 2, 1916 at the age of 25.
