Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 9 ADAMS, William H. WWI William enlisted on August 5, 1914, one day after war was declared. He joined the 66th Regiment at Halifax as a Private, was transferred to the Dalhousie unit then sailed for England on December 30, 1915. William was stationed at Shorncliffe, Kent until about March when the unit left for France. He was attached to the No. 7 Stationary Hospital unit where he remained until the Armistice was signed. WWI Charles enlisted at Halifax on June 8, 1918 in the First Depot Battalion and sailed for England the following August. AUBERTIN, Jean Marc PEACETIME Jean was born in 1942 in Montreal, Quebec. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1960 and took his basic training at HMCS Cornwallis. He served for five years as a Steward after taking his course at Donnacona. He also served on HMCS Swansea and Annapolis as well as at the Hochelaga and Cornwallis bases. Jean has been a member of Clementsport Legion Branch #122. Submitted by the Clementsport Legion Branch #122 of The Royal Canadian Legion. ATWELL, Allan WWII Allan was born in Montreal, QC in 1922. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served during World War II. Allan was a member of Clementsport Legion Branch #122 for 51 years before he passed away in 2010.
