WENTzELL, Malcolm Joseph WWII Malcolm was born in Brickton, Annapolis County, in Nova Scotia in 1920. He joined the Army and served with the North Shore Regiment, Nova Scotia Highlanders Artillery and Infantry in Canada, England, Belgium, and Holland. WEIR, Winston Dean PEACETIME Dean moved to Nova Scotia’s Monastery/Tracadie area when quite young and grew up there. He is the son of Fred and Ruby Weir. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served 9 ½ years in active service as an air traffic controller and was a reserve officer for 30 years. He served in St. Jean, Quebec; Borden, Ontario; St. John’s, Newfoundland; Greenwood, Nova Scotia; Esquimalt, BC; Val D’Or, Quebec and Goose Bay, Labrador.
