MURPHY, George Allison WWI George was 17 when he joined the 6th Canadian Mounted Rifles in June 1915. He proceeded overseas to England and was transferred to the Fort Garry Horse. MUSGRAVE, Charles Bernard “Charlie” WWII Charlie was born on March 22, 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He enlisted on March 6, 1942 at No. 6 District Depot and served in Canada and in the United Kingdom, as well as in the Central Mediterranean area. Private Musgrave was discharged in Halifax on August 21, 1945 and was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. Submitted independently. MURPHY, J. A. WWI J. A. Murphy was born in Margaree, Nova Scotia.
