Ernest PEACETIME Ernest was born in La Vallée, Ontario in 1937.He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1954 where he served for 23 years on the high seas. He was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration 2 and the Special Service Medal (NATO). Ernest was a member of several Royal Canadian Legion Branches including Esquimalt Branch # 172, Scotia Branch # 25, Edson Branch # 51. He was also with Isle Madame Branch # 150 prior to joining Branch # 110 L’Ardoise. Ernest passed away in 2008. Submitted by the L’Ardoise Branch # 110 of The Royal Canadian Legion. FEINSTEIN, Samuel WWII Samuel was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia. He served as a Flight Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Samuel was killed in action on September 30, 1942. Submitted by the Inverness Branch # 132 of The Royal Canadian Legion. FEINSTEIN, Nathan WWII Nathan was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia. He joined the Army and served with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in Northwest Europe during World War II. Nathan was killed in action on November 2, 1944 at the Battle of the Scheldt in Holland.
