KENNEDY, W. G. WWI W.G. Kennedy enlisted at the age of 19 in the 40th Battalion on August 4, 1915. He left for England on October 5 and was transferred upon arrival to the 24th V.R. Canadians and left for France in January. He was gassed at Vimy Ridge and received a slight wound in the hand at Mons.
