He enlisted on March 28, 1951 and served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. He was discharged on April 4, 1975. Allison was awarded the UN Emergency Force Medal (Egypt), the Canadian Forces Decoration with Clasp, the Queen’s Jubilee Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the NATO Service Medal, and the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal. He enlisted on March 28, 1951 and served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. He was discharged on March 1, 1975. Frederick was awarded the UN Peacekeeping Medal (Korea), the UN Emergency Force Medal (Egypt), the UN Peacekeeping Medal (Belgian Congo), the Canadian Forces Decoration with Clasp, the UNFI Cyprus Peacekeeping Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the NATO Service Medal (3 tours in Germany), and the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal. Submitted independently. ARBUCKLE, James WWII James was born on December 23, 1917 on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He enlisted on July 3, 1941 and served with the Prince Edward Island Light Horse Regiment and the North Shore Highlanders. He was discharged on December 3, 1945 and received the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp. James died on August 10, 1983. Submitted independently. ARBUCKLE, George WWII George was born on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia on October 3, 1919. He enlisted on June 12, 1940 and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders, the North Nova Scotia Highlanders, and the Royal Canadian Provost Corps during WWII. George was discharged on October 20, 1946 and was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Italy Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and was Honourably Mentioned in Dispatch. George died on December 18, 1979. Submitted independently.
