He enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion Nova Scotia Regiment and served at Camp Aldershot, Nova Scotia on May 25, 1918. Submitted by Harding Branch # 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion HIRTLE, Clayton St. Clair WWI Clayton was born on January 20, 1900 and he resided in Martin’s Point, Nova Scotia. He enlisted with the 219th Overseas Highland Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force on April 17, 1916. Submitted by Harding Branch # 144 of The Royal Canadian Legion HOPKINS, Levi W. WWI Levi was born in Clark’s Harbour, Nova Scotia. He served at Vimy Ridge during World War I and returned home in 1920. Levi saved his cousin, Milford Hopkins, by crawling on his stomach and dragging Milford to safety. He is a member of Cape Sable Legion Branch # 148. Submitted independently
