He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served on HMCS Skeena, Assiniboine, Prince Henry, Stettler, New Waterford, Nootka, Magnificent, Sioux, Venture, and Ottawa in Canada, in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Harold received the 1939-45 Star, the Atlantic Star, the Pacific Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the Victory Medal and the RCN Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with 420 Squadron of No. 6 Grove in Thulthorpe, England. He received the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Bar and the War Medal 1939-45. Keith was a Charter Member of Valley Legion Branch # 147. Submitted by the Valley Branch # 147 of The Royal Canadian Legion MOTT, Wilfred WWII Wilfred was born in 1926 in Leeds County, Ontario. He joined the Merchant Navy during World War II and served in the Atlantic and Pacific on HMCS Cataraqui. After serving on merchant ships, Wilfred joined the RCMP and served aboard RCMP Preventer and RCMP Roch. He was awarded the CUSD with Clasp, the Pacific Star, the Atlantic Star, the Victory Medal and the RCMP Long Service Medal with Clasp.
