He joined the Navy in World War II and served on HMCS Lunenburg in Canada and on the high seas. Colin died in 1980. Submitted independently CAMPBELL, Donald George WWII Donald was born in 1917 in Weymouth North, Nova Scotia. He joined the Air Force and served in Canada and England with 442 Wolf Squadron during World War II. A Spitfire pilot, Donald was shot down over the English Channel resulting as his being caught and held as a POW for three years. Donald was a member of Weymouth Legion Branch # 067 before he passed away in 2011. Submitted independently CAMPBELL, Glidden WWI Glidden was born in Weymouth North, Nova Scotia in 1882. He joined the Army in World War I and served as a Major with the 85th Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was awarded the Military Cross. Glidden died in 1956. Submitted independently
