Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 87 CROSBY, Keith WWI Keith was born in Hectanooga, Nova Scotia in 1899. He served with the 24th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment), Victoria Rifles in Canada and Belgium. Keith was killed in action in 1916 in Belgium. Submitted by Carleton Consolidated Branch # 167 of The Royal Canadian Legion CURRIE, Frank WWI Frank was born in Chatham, New Brunswick in 1897. He served with the C.O.S.E.F., Canadian Artillery Regiment, 28th Battery, 7th C.G.R., in France and England. He was wounded at Vimy Ridge. Frank worked as a steelworker in the United States with the Tennessee Dam Authority after the war. He was married and had three children. Frank passed away in 1980. Submitted independently CURRIE, Lawrence Joseph WWI Joseph was born in Chatham, New Brunswick in 1901. He served with the C.O.S.E.F., # 2 Draft, 12th Field Battery, C.F.A. Teamster in France, the United Kingdom, Canada and Belgium. He was wounded when a bomb exploded near his team wagon. He returned to Saint John, New Brunswick and was a labourer. Lawrence married and had two children. He passed away in 1969. Submitted by Donna Lee Butler.
