Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 127 MUISE, Gacien A. WWII Gacien was born on July 23, 1916 in Sluice Point, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. He served as Gunner during World War II, being stationed in Newfoundland. Gacien passed away in Belliveau’s Cove on January 1, 1986. He was a brother to Antoine Muise and Henry Muise. Submitted by the Yarmouth Branch # 061 of The Royal Canadian Legion MUISE, Henry J. WWII Henry was born on May 26, 1918 in Sluice Point, Yarmouth County, NS. He was a Gunner with the Cape Breton Highlanders with the RCIC. Henry was killed in action on September 1, 1944 in Italy. He is buried at Ancona War Cemetery. He was a brother to Gacien Muise, and Antoine Muise. Submitted by the Yarmouth Branch # 061 of The Royal Canadian Legion MULLETT, Byron Robert PEACETIME Byron was born in 1948 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He served in the Navy during Peacetime on board the HMC Ships Saguenay, Protecteur and Preserver. He served in the North Atlantic, Canadian Arctic and South Atlantic. Byron was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Special Service Medal (NATO). He has been a member of the Centennial Legion Branch # 160 for the past 34 years.
