He served in the Army with the 14th Field Ambulance and later with the RCASC during the Second World War. He served in Holland, England, France and Germany. For his service, Murray was awarded the 19391945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal and CVSM with Clasp. He was a member of the Hants Co. Legion Branch # 009 for 48 years before he passed away in 2010. Submitted by the Hants Co. Branch # 009 of The Royal Canadian Legion CRUICKSHANK, Cecil WWII Cecil was born in 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He served in the Navy on Convoys in Atlantic on the Murmansk Run. He served in Canada, France and Germany. He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Medal, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal and the CVSM with Clasp. Cecil was a member of the Hants Co. Legion Branch # 009 for 45 years before he passed away in 2013. Submitted by the Hants Co. Branch # 009 of The Royal Canadian Legion CRUICKSHANK, William WWII William was born in Scotland in 1923. He served in the Army as a Lance Corporal with the Signal Corp during the Second World War. He served in Edmundston, NB; Kingston, Ont.; Sicily, Italy, Holland and France. He was awarded the Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Overseas Medal (Holland) and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal.
