He served in the Army with the 14th Field Ambulance and later with the RCASC during the Second World War. He served in Holland, England, France and Germany. For his service, Murray was awarded the 19391945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal and CVSM with Clasp. He was a member of the Hants Co. He served in Canada, France and Germany. He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Medal, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal and the CVSM with Clasp. Cecil was a member of the Hants Co. He served in the Army as a Lance Corporal with the Signal Corp during the Second World War. He served in Edmundston, NB; Kingston, Ont.; Sicily, Italy, Holland and France. He was awarded the Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Overseas Medal (Holland) and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal.
