Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 65 DAVID, John Patrick “Nick” WWII Nick was born in Port Felix, Nova Scotia. He joined the Canadian Army during WWII. He was part of the Training Wing in Debert and Pugwash. He served in Debert, Pugwash and Mulgrave. He received the 1939-1945 Canadian Volunteer Medal. Nick was a member of Scotia Branch #25 for 12 years. He passed away on December 1, 1974 at the age of 55 and is buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Port Felix. He will be remembered and respected for his years of service. Submitted by the Torbay Branch # 117 of The Royal Canadian Legion DAVID, Neil WWI Neil was born in Port Felix, Nova Scotia to William H. and Bridget (Bellefontaine) David on June 6, 1896. He joined the Army and was with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment). Neil was killed in action on October 30, 1917 and was buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. He will be remembered and respected for his years of service. Submitted by the Torbay Branch # 117 of The Royal Canadian Legion DAVID, Victor G. KOREA Victor was born in Port Felix, Nova Scotia on May 24, 1944 to the late Nick and Monica David. Victor joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served in the 2nd Battalion, The Black Watch, on the H.M.C.S. Fraser, and H.M.C.S. Nipigon. He was in Cyprus (1969-1970) Germany (196769) and Canada. He received his NATO, UNFICYP, and the CPSM. Victor was a member of Torbay Branch # 117 and is currently at Port Hawkesbury Branch # 043. He will be remembered and respected for his years of service.
