He enlisted in April 1941 in the Canadian Army Active. He served in the Dental Corp. and Canadian Field Force. He was given an Honourable Discharge on December 1941. He joined the Air Force and served as an Airframe Mechanic in France, England, Germany, Holland and Belgium during World War II. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. He was a member of the Hants County Branch 009 for thirty years. He enlisted in the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Dental Corps, HMCS Quebec in England, France, Germany and Egypt during World War II. He was awarded the War Medal 1939-1945, UNEF Medal, CPSM, CDII and the CVSM/Clasp. He was a member of the Hants County Branch 009 for eleven years. Allison passed away in 2014.
