He enlisted in the Navy and served in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, Mediterranean Sea during World War II. He was a member of the Lucknow Branch 109 and the Hants County Branch 009 for 56 years. Malcolm “Mac” WWII Mac was born in Louisville in 1923, and at age fifteen, he joined the North Nova Scotia Higlanders. He embarked for England in July 1941 and was seriously wounded in 1944, spending one-and-a-half years in military hospitals. Mac was a Past President of Colchester Branch #026, The Royal Canadian Legion A long-time resident of Truro, he passed away in August 2005.
