Ground in Canada during Peacetime. Richard is a Life Member of the Centennial Legion Branch 160. He served with the West Novies in the United Kingdom, North West Europe, Italy and Africa. He was a Life Member, Past 1st and 2nd VicePresident, with forty-nine years of service to Kings Branch #006, The Royal Canadian Legion at the time of his death in 1995.
