He was a gunner with the 3rd Anti-Tank Regiment and fought in North West Europe from 1942 to 1946. He was a Life Member and Past President of Kings Branch #006, The Royal Canadian Legion, with forty-seven years of service at the time of his death in 2004. He served with the West Novies in England, France and Italy from 1940 to 1946. He was a thirtyseven-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion at the time of his death in 1983. Submitted by Kings Branch #006, The Royal Canadian Legion SCHOFIELD, John WWII John was born and raised in Kentville, NS. He served with the 25th Canadian Battalion in Europe.
