He was a clerk by trade and spent 14 months in the Composite Bn before enlisting in the RCGA of the CEF on 16 November, 1915, in Halifax. Gordon was posted to the St Lucia Battery and served in the Caribbean. He died in Mahone Bay in October 1976. Submitted by Zone 13, The Royal Canadian Legion DAURIE, Guy Gilbert WWI Guy enlisted in the Canadian Army Medical Corps on 18 May, 1918, in Aldershot, NS. Upon enlistment he stated that he was born in Mahone Bay on 9 February 1900; his next of kin was his mother, Mrs. Fannie Daurie, of Mahone Bay; and his trade was that of a bandsman. Guy was discharged in December, 1918, in Halifax. Submitted by Zone 13, The Royal Canadian Legion DAURIE, Roy Randolph WWI Roy was born in Mahone Bay on 1 March, 1897, to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Daurie. He was a painter by trade and spent 7 months in the 1st Siege Battery before enlisting in the RCGA of the CEF on 10 November, 1915, in Halifax.
