Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command of The Royal Canadian Legion www.ns.legion.ca 77 EISENHAUER, Harris Charles WWI Harris was born in Lunenburg on 1 February, 1893, and enlisted in the 219th Bn in Lunenburg on 6 March 1916. He stated that his next of kin was a Mrs. Martha Eisenhauer of Lunenburg and that he was a school teacher. He served at the front with the 1st Battalion, Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Harris died in 1962 of a heart condition. Submitted by Zone 13, The Royal Canadian Legion EISNOR, Anthony Fenwick WWI Anthony enlisted in the 6th Bn of the Canadian Garrison Regiment on 8 May, 1918, in Halifax. He stated that he was born in Mahone Bay on 6 June 1893; was a clerk; had 3 years reserve service in the 69th Annapolis Regiment and 3 years reserve sevice 63rd Bn (Halifax Rifles) ; and that his next of kin was his mother Mrs. Adelaide Eisnor of Maders Cove. He served briefly in the UK and was discharged in February 1919. Submitted by Zone 13, The Royal Canadian Legion EISNOR, Charles Warren WWI Charles was born on 20 July, 1893, in Walden and enlisted in the Canadian Army Service Corps in Halifax 14 December 1916. He declared that he was a teamster by trade and that his next of kin was his wife Mildred Eisnor of Walden.
